A pair of aftermarket Progressive Front Fork Springs designed for vintage British motorcycles. They directly replace the standard factory OEM part numbers 97-4011 and 97-4087.
Product Features:
- Progressive Winding: They feature closely wound coils at one end. This provides a soft, compliant initial ride to absorb minor road bumps while progressively stiffening further down the travel to prevent bottoming out over larger impacts.
- Dimensions: Approximately 19 ¼ inches long with a 1-inch outer diameter.
- Installation Tip: When installing multi-rate progressive springs, ensure the tightly wound coils face upward toward the top of the forks.
Compatibility:
These springs fit BSA and Triumph models built between 1971 and 1983 featuring alloy legs, internal springs, conical hubs, or disc brake front ends.
