
On September the 6th 1956, Johnny Allen set the world absolute speed record of 214.40 mph for a motorcycle at Utah’s Bonneville Salt flats. Texas racer, Allen, set multiple speed records at the controls of the "Texas Ceegar", a stream-lined outer shell that encased the Triumph powered motorcycle, resulting with the 214.40 mph speed record.
